Our 6.00am flight to LHR from ABZ was cancelled literally as we were checking in. No flights until 3.20pm. This severely impacted our holiday as we were sailing from Southampton at 4.00. I emailed Catherine from Inverurie branch giving her a heads up, that we’d managed to make alternate arrangements to get to LHR thinking that she wouldn’t see the email until she went to the office at 9.00 However Catherine called me at 8.00am from home & immediately swung into action liasing with the cruise company & myself for a couple of hours.Despite Catherine’s sterling efforts, due to the cruise companies incompetence our cruise had to be cancelled. Catherine invited us to the office & was determined to book a lovely weekend in the sun for us to make up for our disappointment. She has secured a refund for us also. I know she was doing her job, but her dedication & compassion was very much appreciated by us both. This is why we always book holidays with Stewart Travel. Thankyou again Catherine. I think we were all stressed to the max that day.
