DIAMONDS DREAM OF AFRICA

Diamonds Dream of Africa is a member of the 'Small Luxury Hotels of the World'. Set in pretty gardens, steps away from the Indian Ocean on the northern shores of Malindi, close to the centre of town. From here it is easy to explore the exotic coral gardens of the nearby marine park.

The hotel was designed in Indo-Arab style with arches and turreted roofs adorning coral pink façades. The atmosphere is one of laid-back relaxation with private terraces surrounded by lush lawns and flowers.

Location - Along the silver sand beach of Malindi.

Facilities  - An à la carte restaurant and a sea food restaurant open for dinner (at extra charge), and two bars. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool and the Mvua African Rain Spa. Table tennis, beach volleyball, archery and water sports and diving centre are available at nearby sister hotel Sandies Tropical Village.

Accommodation - 33 air-conditioned junior suites (3 adults) and 2 suites (2 adults and 2 children) all with en suite facilities and a jacuzzi bathtub, dressing table, wi-fi, TV, safe, mini bar, hairdryer and a balcony/terrace with sun loungers. Suites are spacious with a separate lounge area.

TSAVO SAFARI

The National Parks of Tsavo East and Tsavo West together form one of Africa's largest wilderness reserves. Tsavo as a whole consists of 10 million acres of pure wilderness, incorporating savannah and hills and an extensive river system. The sheer scale of Tsavo gives the visitor a chance to really get away from it all, and to explore the wild in total solitude. On safari here you will see large herds of elephants, their hides often bright red with dust, as well as lions, buffaloes, elands and giraffes. Tsavo is a birdwatcher's paradise with numerous species of weavers, hornbills, sunbirds, rollers, and raptors commonly seen. Tsavo is easily accessed from the coast at Mombasa.
