So, while the exterior may look like it belongs to another decade, inside it’s very 21stcentury. Think leather buttoned sofas, spotlit ceilings and trendy furniture in toffees, creams and pastels. The boutiquey style extends to the pool terrace, too. Here, you’ll find a curvy pool, wooden sunloungers, and whirlpool baths framed by sundecks. And because the hotel is exclusively for adults, there aren’t any children to disturb your peace. In terms of the dining scene, it’s pretty eclectic. Chic, high-backed chairs and picture windows combine to great effect in the Androniki restaurant, where buffet meals are served. In Kukutsi, meanwhile, sushi and noodles take centre-stage, along with black slatted chairs and funky lighting. There’s also an à la carte Mediterranean number and four bars. The rooftop bar is a particular highlight, furnished with smart, white-cushioned sofas. Last but not least, there are the bedrooms. Dressed in muted oranges, pinks and creams, they incorporate little luxuries like satellite TVs. Or you can go for one of the bungalow suites, tucked in the gardens. They come with lounge areas and separate bedrooms, so you can really relax in your own private space.
