No-one slips under the radar at the Ela Quality Resort in Belek. Its long list of facilities means there’s something for all ages. There’s a crèche for babies, playgrounds, waterslides and theatres for children, special activities and a games room for teenagers, and a spa for adults.

Looks-wise, this place has been built to resemble a traditional Ottoman palace. The grounds are ornamented with pillars and colourful fountains, and the golden marble lobby looks fit for a king. Bedrooms, meanwhile, take on a more contemporary style. Think wooden floors, dark furniture, plump cushions and a colour-scheme of duck-egg blue, cappuccino and plum.

The pool scene here is pretty special. The main pool is the size of a lake, while the separate children’s pool comes with its own waterslides. Little ones can choose from rubber ring runs, rainbow-coloured shoots and some faster, more furious, flumes. When you want a change, the coffee-coloured sands of Belek beach are just a few footsteps away.

When it comes to mealtimes, this hotel has won awards for its restaurants. There are eight to choose from, including Italian, fish and Turkish-themed eateries and a café-patisserie. The Oriental restaurant has an open kitchen, so you can watch the chefs preparing your food from your table. This place doesn’t skimp on evening entertainment, either.
