Berger’s Sporthotel is well-run by the Berger family and is in a pretty great location, right in the heart of Saalbach.

The staff are on hand, day, and night, to make your stay a perfect experience. The Sporthotel is made up of two buildings – the main hotel is the central hub of your stay, and here you'll find the La Vie wellness centre.

The rooms are styled fairly typically for the region, but with a few modern touches. The guesthouse annexe to the Sporthotel is a short 20-metre walk away and the rooms there are spacious and comfortable, and all have balcony.

Please be aware that the annexe building is 20m from the main hotel, across the pedestrian area.

Saalbach is your picture-postcard Austrian village. Streets of buildings with timber balconies cluster around the onion-domed church, and all around are woods, meadows, and more mountains than you can count. All meals are taken in the main hotel, where the food is highly rated and you'll have a good selection of local dishes to try throughout your stay – although, if you prefer, the menu still offers international cuisine and can cater for vegetarians too.
