This family-run hotel has won a Thomson Gold Award for three years in a row, and it’s easy to see why. First of all, it’s really welcoming, with the staff priding themselves on their nothing’s-too-much-trouble approach. Another plus point of the place is the setting. The centre of Calis Beach is just a five-minute walk away. Location aside, the real standout feature here is the pool scene. There are four swimming pools to choose from, including two miniature ones for children. Factor in a snack bar and spacious lawns and terraces, and it’s easy to spend all day here. In terms of bedrooms, meanwhile, they’re basic but comfortable – and they all have the added bonus of a private balcony or terrace. Last but not least, there’s the dining scene to consider. You can pick and choose from big buffet spreads and à la carte options with a Turkish flavour. The recently-renovated restaurant is a really smart space, with the highlight being an open-air terrace trimmed with greenery.
