ITINERARY

Day 1 & 2. Fly to Beijing

Fly overnight to Beijing, China’s history and culture-packed capital city. Transfer to your hotel, check in then relax or start exploring.

Day 3. Imperial Beijing

From Tiananmen Square, wander through the opulent Forbidden City before heading to the Temple of Heaven to explore and watch, or join in, a dance class?

Day 4. Great Wall of China

Start the day with a walk along the Great Wall, China’s most iconic sight, returning to Beijing via the Jade Museum and the Olympic Green for a photo stop.

Day 5. Bullet Train to Xian

Hop on a bullet train to Xian, an ancient city with a long and exciting history, and the home of the Terracotta Warriors.

Day 6. Terracotta Warriors

Call on the Terracotta Warriors, made to protect an Emperor, before visiting craftsmen in a warrior workshop. Later, see the Little Wild Goose Pagoda.??

Day 7. Fly to Shanghai

Fly to Shanghai, China’s great modern metropolis. The rest of the day is free, so why not start exploring amongst the gleaming skyscrapers?

Day 8. Explore Shanghai

Explore the city, stopping at the Yu Garden with a stroll through the old town, the Shanghai Museum and Silk Museum.

Day 9. Fly Shanghai to UK

Wave farewell to Shanghai and transfer to the airport to board your flight home. Fly to the UK, arriving home the same or following day.
