These studios are actually in Platanes, a small resort on the edge of Rethymnon. It means although you’ve got the beach and a handful of restaurants and bars down the road, you’ll have to get a bus or a taxi into the city itself. It’s only a 10-minute drive away though, so it’s not really an issue. The studios themselves are clean and comfortable, if a little on the small side. The pool area is decent, too, especially if you overlook the candyfloss-pink loungers that look like they belong to Beach Barbie.
