Get a taste for old world Turkey in these quaint restored cottages. There are touches of Ottoman style – whitewashed walls, exposed stonework and beamed ceilings – in each of the mountain escapes. Each cottage also has its own individual style thanks to things like bright blue wooden balconies, patterned kilims and patchwork walk hangings. You can take your pick of cosy one-bedroom boltholes through to bigger cottages which sleep four. They’ve all got open fireplaces, air-conditioning and private terraces. There’s also a kitchenette complete with three gas rings and fridge, an a la carte restaurant and mini market on site. But, perhaps best of all, these cottages can help ease your holiday conscience since they use solar power and water-saving techniques.

Outside, the cottages are connected by winding stone pathways lined with colourful bougainvillea, olive trees and shady palm trees. You’ll also find are two adult-only pools and one family pool, which has a whirlpool tub and kids’ pool. All the swimming spots are set in terraces with comfy sunbeds and parasols. And if you’re keen for a morning heart-starter of a real Turkish coffee and sticky sweet, visit the on-site restaurant.
