Fantastic skiing in wonderful scenery between forests of epicea firs and small mountain granaries, offering ski-lovers both the Joyere sector, ideal for beginners, the open spaces of Maroly and the more difficult descents of the Lachat.
Thanks to the nearness of the Aravis range, which catches passing cloud formations, snowfalls are particularly abundant in this region, while the North/South orientation of the ski area also provides high sunshine hours.

From the famously steep black run of Lachat to the delightful downhill runs of the Col des Annes, not forgetting such highlights as the slopes of La Floria, Outalays and La Tolar: all skiers, whatever their level will be enchanted.
The Etale Cable car has been replaced by a Telemix lift. This is a new type of lift combining a gondola cabin and a chairlift, providing access to Merdassier and the blue Joux run.
A permanent four man chairlift from Belvedere, with a conveyor belt, will serve the higher section of the Etale massif.
A new artificial snow network will ensure continuous snow cover on the Joux ski run and from the Envers ski run back to La Clusaz!
]The Aravis ski pass, valid on Le Grand-Bornand, La Clusaz, Saint-Jean-de-Sixt and Manigod (not valid on La Croix-Fry sector) offers you 220 km ski runs. Skibus connections, every half hour, are free between resorts (6 km) with this ski pass.

An area for intermediates features 7 modules, with 4 handrails and 3 kicks. Here, you can try out different snow sports techniques with the advantage of long landing zones for enhanced safety. With its 3 modules, 2 handrails and 1 kick, the 3rd area welcomes experts and is reserved exclusively for training and competitions. The new snow park also boasts a 110 metre long and 38 metre wide half pipe.
Ski Bus Service: The ski bus service (free service if one has a lift pass) operates throughout the two resorts, and there is also a bus service that links the two ski areas.

To reach the resort by train, Moutiers Railway Station is 37km away.
