The newly opened Caribbean World Resort Soma Bay is a superior first class beach front hotel situated on 14,0000 square metres of sandy beach on Soma Bay, approximately 40 km south of Hurghada International Airport. The hotel overlooks the crystal-clear waters of Egypt's Red Sea, a perfect destination offering pristine beaches, year round tropical weather and desert and mountain scenery as a backdrop. The Red Sea is a much loved region, famed for its sea life and underwater world.

Hotel Facilities

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:30), lunch (12:30-14:30; served also at the Tortuga Beach grill) and dinner (19:00-22:30), all buffet style, served in the Caribbean restaurant. Late breakfast takes place from 10:30-12:00 at the Cuba Beach bar. Also at the disposal of the AI guests are the A la Carte restaurant La Palma (19:00-22:30) and the barbecue restaurant (19:00-22:00). Cold & hot snacks are available between 12:30-sunset at the Cuba beach bar and between 12:00-16:00 at the Jamaica pool & snack bar. Tea time is from 16:00-17:00 at the Jamaica pool bar, snack bar and Melody Gazebo bar. Customers can have ice cream during lunch time at the Caribbean restaurant. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are served from 10:00-24:00 at the Aloha lobby bar (10:00-24:00), Gazebo bar (11:00-24:00), Aladdin Café (sunset-midnight; cold & hot drinks), Jamaica pool bar and Cuba Beach bar (10:00-sunset). In-room mini bar are filled with a small bottle of mineral water per person (on arrival day only).Take advantage of the three swimming pools of the property and the children swimming pool. The guests may also find a health club with sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi and fitness room, open air massage, diving centre, wind surfing centre, water sports, one flood light tennis court, beach volley ball, basketball, billiards, beach football, table tennis, jogging, aqua park, darts, boccia, multi purpose court, water polo and basketball. For the younger guests there is also a childrens play ground and a variety of children activities together with an animation team.The friendly and highly professional staff is waiting to assist on a 24 hour basis with all the clients needs and enquiries. The guests may also find a car rental service, a shuttle bus three times per day to and from Hurghada (at an extra charge), babysitting, shopping arcade, internet café, clinic, bank and ATM machine and a flower shop. The honeymooners get a VIP treatment and free wine and fruit in the room upon arrival.On entry into Egypt, guests must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry; the fee is £14 (subject to change)..
