OVERVIEW OF TOUR • Stay in hill station Nuwara Eliya 6,000, having lunch at Kitulgala where Bridge on the River Kwai was filmed. • Look out for Sambhur, butterflies and monkeys in Horton Plains National Park. • Embark on a jeep safari through Yala National Park. You might see wild elephants and even leopards. • Spot wild elephants, spotted deer, birds and crocodiles in Bundala National Park. • Take a jeep safari of Udawalawe National Park, famous for its large elephant herds.

The Sri Lanka Wildlife Safari is accompanied by a local guide or from the afternoon of Day 1 to arrival at your beach hotel on Day 8. On beach extensions in Sri Lanka or the Maldives, assistance is provided by our local representatives.

Good to know

•   Tipping is common practice in Sri Lanka. We recommend small amounts for porterage and slightly larger amounts for your driver and guide, if you are happy with the service

•   A sun hat is recommended during your climb of Sigiriya Rock and take lots of water!  •   For departures on other days of the week, depending on flight schedules, an extra night at Mount Lavinia or Negombo may be required at the beginning of your tour.
