The Hotel Condesa de la Bahia has clinched a great setting. It’s a 15-minute walk from the centre of Playa de Muro, and less than a five-minute taxi ride from Alcudia’s centre. Best of all, the property is pulled up against Alcudia’s white sweep of sand, so you’re only metres from the beach.

At the hotel, the showpiece is the swimming pool. It’s a massive lagoon-like number that’s criss-crossed by a bridge and edged by palms. Little ones have their own section to play in, and there's an animal-themed splash park here, as well. It comes complete with cow and chicken-shaped slides, and a squirrel-style water fountain.

The buffet restaurant serves up international spreads, and you'll find favourites like shepherd's pie on offer, too. If you want to mix things up a bit, though, head to the Miramar a la carte restaurant to dine al fresco on the terrace.

2 outdoor pools - Sitting side by side in the grounds the pools are surrounded by terraces laced with sunbeds and parasols.

Splash pool* - An exciting splash pool for the kids with colourful slides and tunnels to explore. If relaxing's more your thing, sunbeds line the pool. Towels can be bought at the gift shop.

Children's pool - Little ones have a section of the pool, with sunbeds and parasols.

Buffet restaurant - Main restaurant for lunch and dinner serves local specialities alongside more familiar dishes like shepherd’s pie. As well as the buffet, there’s Majorcan nights and barbecues, plus show cooking, where you can watch the chefs cook your meat and fish. Highchairs are also available.

Burger bar for children - Situated next to the children's splash area you'll find the burger bar for children.

Snack bar - The snack bar is open during the day for sandwiches, a selection of drinks, cakes, pastries and afternoon coffee and tea.
