The popular ClubHotel Riu Merengue is an attractive hotel with excellent facilities. The low-rise buildings are scattered over a wide area resembling a large village. Rooms are attractively furnished.
Set in extensive grounds, backed by lush hills in the distance, leading directly on to Maimon beach; 9km to Puerto Plata; 300m to Caribbean Street shopping area.
Double rooms have two double beds (They will sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children) , individually-controlled air conditioning, telephone, ceiling fan, satellite TV, full bathroom and furnished balcony or terrace. Double rooms for sole use and suites which are larger and as above with two double beds (camp bed available if required) with separate living room and second TV are available.
