Teaming chic décor with a fabulous pool scene and a beachfront location, this stylish hotel comes with all the trimmings.

Step inside the Bellevue Park and you’ll be forgiven for thinking you’ve walked into a Bedouin tent. Swathes of muslin cascade down from the ceiling and bright cushions are scattered on wicker sofas.

The bedrooms, meanwhile, are contemporary spaces decked out in sunshine-yellow. Extras come in the form of satellite TVs and air-conditioning, while spacious balconies add the finishing touches.

Head outside and the first thing you’ll notice is the huge swimming pool. It’s just footsteps from the beach and surrounded by palms and straw umbrellas. Elsewhere, there’s plenty to keep sporty types busy, from tennis courts to a bowling green.

As for mealtimes here, they’re all about big buffets. You’ll also find on-the-spot cooking stations, so you can have your food cooked to order. What’s more, themed nights are put on twice a week so you can sample dishes from other parts of the world.

Lastly, a word on location. The hotel is about three kilometres from the centre of Port El Kantaoui, so it’s pretty quiet. That said, there’s a bus stop just a couple of minutes’ walk from the lobby, so getting to the town’s shops and restaurants is easy.
