Peruse a collection of Nigerian Yaruba Crowns (Hand-beaded crowns of Nigerian kings), read through the lobby's collection of books on the theme of travel, or admire a display case filled with minerals from around the world, including sulphur and pink opal.

Then return to what makes San Francisco such a special place and take in a lobby mural with a fascinating story. Discovered behind the walls during the hotel's renovation in 2018, an almost 100-year-old artwork by Persian artist John Oshanna beautifully depicts Mission Dolores, San Francisco's oldest intact Mission in California (built in 1776).

In the Mezzanine Gallery and Living Room, you'll find art exhibits featuring the works of emerging and established local artists. Like the area's eclectic art scene, the series touches all points of the visual arts spectrum. Naturally, you are invited to meet the artists during public receptions for each show and, of course, if you're moved by a particular work, it's available for purchase through McKinley Art Solutions.

San Francisco is a foodie’s paradise – and Hotel Triton just happens to be home to two of the city’s most appealing eateries. On one side is Café de la Presse – a wonderfully authentic French bistro that is the go-to for the local in-crowd. On the other side is Scott's Chowder House – a great place to get delicious seafood chowder & lobster rolls!

All of San Francisco’s biggest attractions, including Pier 39, the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, North Beach, and countless restaurants and shops are within easy reach of the hotel.
