Dorsoduro is one of the quieter districts in Venice City away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas and home to many famous art collections including the Peggy Gugenheim Museum which is a three minute walk and the Galleria dell’Accademia just five minutes away. St Mark’s Square is less than a mile away and easily accessible via waterbus on the Grand Canal or a 20 minute walk over the Accademia Bridge. The Santa Lucia Train station and Piazzle Roma are about 25-30 minutes walking distance and 1.5 miles away.
