If you travel between September and April the Northern Lights tour is included in your booking. Not many people can say they’ve seen the Aurora Borealis (aka Northern Lights) – but as part of your city break package, you’ll get the chance. Included in all our packages is a Northern Lights tour, which will take you to see the spectacular natural phenomenon. The Northern Lights occur due to particles from the sun interacting with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole, which creates the most magical show on earth. Don’t miss your chance to gaze at the mysterious Northern Lights dancing across the night sky!

Please note: The Northern Lights in Iceland are visible during the winter months, from September to April. The locations visited during the tour vary from day-to-day depending on weather conditions. Because this tour is weather-dependent, you will be given details of the date of the tour on your arrival. Each tour starts at 9pm and will last for two to three hours, though sightings are not guaranteed. Hotel pick-up and drop-off is included and pick-up times will be notified either in resort or on holiday vouchers 28 days to departure.
